Psychpmetric Software

France, what a beautiful country all the same!

Everything excites in the plane, I can not wait, that of finding all these good things I was deprived for a year ... But Barely exited the aircraft I am quickly reminded that the charm of this beautiful country is in package: Organization of shit (no kidding, a leading CDG airports in the world, not to manage a damn passengers crossing the state ...), transit as low as their prices, people as helpful as patients, total. Finally luckily I managed to regain my sis's apartment ... Hardly the case raises is the direction of Levy walk street, where I find the smells, colors and animation so particular.

Wasting no time, barely digested breakfast we left for Saint Germain des Pres, and yes homecoming, or a buddy Nick joins us American. I had promised him to discover the best (at least among the best) buttons and patisseries of Paris. It is without hesitation that I take him to Laduree and Pierre Herme in! We decided to go and ask the Luxembourg gardens to enjoy our follies sucrees ... It's not even bother me to tell you that we feasted! (And yes I have yann think of you worry)
was one of those rides that I loved so much so, the Saint Germain district, fine arts, street cops, Luxembourg, the Pantheon, the academy, ESTP (yes detour requires), Saint Michael, Saint Andre des Arts, rue de Bucci and return to the Odeon ...

The next visit is the cemetery of Pere Lachaise ... good is not it true that there are more gay has done, especially in the rain ... but this huge park full of surprises. Beyond the famous Morrison, Faure, Apollinaire, Moliere, La Fontaine, Piaf and Chopin to name a few, there are also graves rather than the atypical:

After a long walk is that we leads through the Place des Vosges, the Saint Paul, the oldest house in Paris (or not), the town hall, Pompidour, Chatelet, the Louvre (very short visit unfortunately), Opera, Place Vendome The walk from the Faubourg Saint Honore for lunch and a small piece of theater with one of the rising comediennes fabi!

It's crazy as the pretext guide can visit so many things we did not have the opportunity to ... including the catacombs on Place Denfert.

Nothing spectacular, the bones and skulls are arranged so ordered that nothing terrible.

Finally after several days of gray Paris I decided to go visit auntie christine, mag and Bernard who generously invited me to their homes in the south Montpel ...

Look at this facade trompe l'oeil ... And yes back in the car before it is passes through the famous Millau viaduct, breathtaking accomplishment. Its elegance that stands out of the groove in the middle of nowhere, attracts many tourists ...

Well this picture is for this bitch of montpellier saleswoman who forbade me to take pictures of the ceiling of his shop. (In English and in addition, what an idiot)

Hiv Test In Two Month

TOKYO!

City of all delusions, my stay in Tokyo in Japan in early or I'll spend most of my 2 ½ weeks, since it is the that are my favorite breakfast well especially my host, and Yann charlo Thomas ...

The famous monkeys "no speak evil, hear no evil, see no evil "... or something like that ... on the pediment of a temple of the small but very cultural city of Nikko is located 2 hours by train from Tokyo.

If Tokyo is full of surprises, extremely clean, very little cosmopolitan (fear of the alien or unattractive to non-tourists?), and the tireless pace is a bit further south that are cultural treasures of Japan.
So I decided to take my backpack and get off solo for 4 days and 5 nights in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe and Himeji. These cities are very well connected by train ( not more than 30 min between each). It's a little adventure especially after being so by a native guide and a geek for a week in Tokyo! My journey begins with a night bus on the passenger list only one name in letters, mine (easy to designer ...).
I arrive at 6am in Kyoto, a city with thousand temples ... Arriving in the morning I steer clear of the usual crowd. It's a real shock getting off the bus than to be in this temple where Zen and so gripping that I gasped. It's as if I'd just make a big blow ... lol. Zen Guaranteed! Mountainside perch overlooking the city, but especially around trees and springs that first temple is a treat ... I hasten to do as my Lonely Planet guide suggests: part of 10 yen (10 in Japanese also means longevity) launched in the larger wooden resounding clapping and 2 before ringing the bell ... for me it really is not a religious but a real spiritual moment, a moment of elevation.

voila Finally, the tour continues, temples parade, and every night my legs remind me of the miles traveled. But it's such a joy to walk, observe every detail, so as tourist routes. What is more fun in these visits, the mixture of natural and meticulous work. The care perspective is impressive, I feel that every place that I travel there are always angles and openings so pleasant to eye.

colors, materials, textures are beautifully assembled. This is perhaps not the Leonardo da Vinci or Rodin, but it has a certain charm. It is not the elements but must be assessed together.

to check, who invented the Aqueduct? Roman or Asian?

If harmony is divine temples, the food is simply to fall. I think if I had two stomachs AC would not just for any taste. The Japanese eat mostly outside, what is seen on the variety and quantity of cheap places to feast.

In addition to many traditional dishes that I could taste thanks to Yann and his girlfriend, I made a special stop in Kobe so famous for its meat. The price is exorbitant but worth it, the meat is soft ...

There sushi and sushi ... up to threefold following the scarcity of the product, not to miss the o-toro (fatty tuna belly deep), the shushi sea urchins, the mantis, and the whale (I know, I long hesitated participate in the killing of a calf, but I wanted to understand why ...) meat that is found even in the small neighborhood supermarket!

Finally, a ride at Disney was inevitable, although why it took driving an ambush ambush with Saori ... It really is too too early, especially since we have had almost no tail to do!

Can Chancres Be Popped?

New Job, New Life? Vancouver Aquarium

Today: Back to school, oops, it's almost like finally good: it rises Quickly super (after three rounds of buzz is the need ...), one wonders what will make the first impression is the one that counts the most (or not done), little fear of being late, we open the door, the room is filled with new faces, who knows not too much or sit down, say hello or not ... good for once I right to a free coffee (starbucks starbucks but not so after all that AC) in a small cup BH (Buro Happold, my box). I take the office of the intern who is a party the week before ... and wait quietly as the RH is coming ... (Yes! Yet I'm only 5 minutes in advance)
new Premiere, I was told that my main instructor (read manager) is the nice guy sitting across from me ... he's gonna look pretty nice, as Danielle said, is that the honeymoon:)
As it is reunion with one third of the box is the expert CoSA (foo simulation analysis) My group is responsible for making me a presentation of his / my group the MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing). Ca looks pretty interesting, there are some software I already use! and one I'll mainly be using is a software which I do not go to a presentation at Berkeley (I think I was over at the same time ...). Today's major assignment is to familiarize myself with this software: read the tutorials, a mass of pdf pages! 2nd
stress of the day (with luck I avoided the first pause it ...) lunch ... appears to form a group with another new recruit of the day (a girl who turns out to be as UCB that I know by sight), but the group of "structural" so I do not know if I must join. HR finally beckoned me to follow them. First meal, typically LA (Herb was right!): Burritos, but very filling rather not bad finally saw the price ($ 10 with juice) was better! Back in the office after a good 10 minutes walk is the fateful moment: the fight of his eyes open. Sellotape and yes my computer has to read the software instructions, I like the eyelids LEAD underway! AC finally happening but it is already time for the alarm 18h finals. Except that, the air conditioning stops but people remain (aside my neighbor who is also my roommate leaves the interim office) I hesitate a little, the other rookie has already led to work (or pretend does well) and does not seem to want to leave. Tip number one: waiting for abbreviated I'll talk to my manager (from Anyway I had to talk to him, he did not have time the rest of the day), ask a few what I would do in the box ... normally of sustainable development. The group had not yet ascended they put me in the MEP group is in fact closely linked to eco design, especially as regards energy performance simulation and code compliance (become stricter in California) . After this abbreviated discussion by the manager himself who had to leave, I grab my bag and returned to my car (and yes also the novelty, but will be another post).
balance of this academic year, not much to share that on arriving at home I realize that I walked all day with a small sticker on my shirt brand new to the neck in the back! (I say and repeat, good god exists, I would have deserved ...)
